Juan Pablo Bellido

Juan Pablo Bellido holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Seville and received the award Premio Extraordinario Fin de Carrera and he later studied a Master’s Degree in Institutional and Political Communication.

He is the editor of the C0MUNICA | INNOVACIÓN SOCIAL, which has thirteen head offices in three provinces of Andalusia. Likewise, he is a contributor to Diario CÓRDOBA and EL CONFIDENCIAL, as well as an associate producer of the program “No son horas” at ONDA CERO, where he speaks about the most relevant press covers of the day every night.

He is a collaborator of the Chair of Citizen Participation at Córdoba University. He has participated in eleven editions of the “Ruta Quetzal” Program, directed by the renowned Spanish reporter Miguel de la Quadra-Salcedo. The program has been declared “Of Universal Interest” by UNESCO.

Founder of the Association of Social Innovators C0MUNICA, which in 2007 was a finalist in the 8th Cibersur Awards for the Best Andalusian Blog. In addition, for eight years, he has belonged to the Board of Directors of the Provincial Computing Company (EPRINSA) of the Diputación de Córdoba.

In October of 2017, he received the BLOGOSUR AWARD for Best News Tweetter. Currently, Juan Pablo Bellido is one of the most influential Spanish journalists on the Internet, according to KLEAR. Lecturer in numerous conferences and seminars and author of the book “Twitter as a new tool for electoral political communication”, published in 2017 by the University of Castilla-La Mancha, is a member of the Research Group “Influences of Journalistic Genres and Technologies in Social Communication “; from the University of Seville, as well as a professor at the EUSA University Campus, a center attached to the University of Seville. He also teaches in several master’s degrees promoted by the Chamber of Commerce of Seville and the University of Seville.
